Meet the maker
My name is Ifeoma and I am the founder of MaOma. My journey with MaOma began in November 2022, after battling and overcoming cancer. During my treatment, I discovered firsthand the struggles of dry skin and hair. This started me on my journey to discover gentle, effective and affordable solutions.
20+ years experience
With over 20 years experience of formulating products, I decided to make my own remedies, not just for myself but for my loved ones too. It turns out, I wasn’t alone in my struggle. Dry hair and skin were common complaints among friends and family. Word of mouth quickly spread, and before I knew it, MaOma had blossomed into a thriving business.

MaOma was born out of a desire to provide safe, affordable, and natural solutions for dry hair and skin, with a special focus on those undergoing or recovering from cancer treatments. For those in recovery, using natural hair and skincare products is vital. These products are gentle yet effective, helping to soothe and nourish sensitive skin and hair that may have been affected by treatment. Plus, they’re free from harsh chemicals that could further irritate delicate skin.
MaOma approach
Our approach is simple. We believe in the power of natural oils and butters to moisturise and protect the hair and skin. Shea, Coconut, and Mango butters are staples of our formulations, delivering deep hydration and nourishment to dry skin. We also use essential oils. Not only do they provide additional moisture to parched skin and hair, but they also offer aromatherapy benefits, creating a sensory experience with every use.
